Working With Children Accreditation

Pursuant to the NSW child protection legislation and Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) policies and procedures, contractors and volunteers who engage in child-related work are required to complete the SCS Child Safe Communities (CSC) Contractors and Volunteers Working with Children (WWC) Accreditation Process (WWC Accreditation Process), which involves being inducted in child protection, reading and understanding the obligations and procedures under the relevant child protection legislation and SCS policies, as well as providing their Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance number for verification by SCS. Please select the nature of your engagement (i.e. contractor or volunteer) to begin the WWC Accreditation Process.

If you are looking to be engaged as a contractor or volunteer at one of our 147 school communities for the first time, please select the relevant option below to complete the Working With Children Accreditation process.

Already engaged and needing to renew your clearance?

Each year, before re-engaging at any of our schools, you must complete a new Annual Safe Schools Expectation Undertaking, in addition to holding a valid WWCC.

If you have not yet engaged with SCS this year, please email pcservices@syd.catholic.edu.au to request an unique link to update your Annual Safe Schools Expectation Undertaking. Please ensure you include your full name in your email for verification purposes.

If you have renewed or obtained a new WWCC since your last engagement with us, please notify People & Culture Services via pcservices@syd.catholic.edu.au for verification and clearance purposes.

If we can be of further assistance regarding this process, please contact People & Culture Services via email at pcservices@syd.catholic.edu.au or by phone at (02) 9568 8297.
